Friends of Sunset Park was formed by parents of past Sunset Elementary School students who hope to honor the former Sunset School community and the surrounding neighborhoods by supporting the creation of a beautiful new community gathering place at the site of the closed school.
 
The core group members include Shoreline residents Cynthia Esselmen, Suzanne Gugger, Michelle Hickman, Leanne Skooglund Hofford, Lynn Huston, Teri LeClair and Lisa Surowiec.
